Let’s begin…

1. Alternating Current

Direct Current (DC) by Thomas Edison was used until Nikola Tesla showed up to work for Edison. Mr. Tesla saw that DC nikola tesla thomas edison Alternating Current ac dc war battle powerwas costing too much to send enough power long distances so he took his discovery Alternating Current (AC) to Thomas Edison who rejected it. Thomas Edison then begun to demonstrate to the public how Nikola Tesla’s Alternating Current was dangerous by Electrocuting animals putting fear into society at the time.

This made everyone believed that “Alternating Current” was a danger to anyone who uses it. But this didn’t stop Nikola Tesla who surprisingly demonstrated to the public that his Alternating Current AC was completely safe by sending very high voltage of current through his own body producing light. Nikola Tesla eventually won the war on electricity in the end.

Today in modern times, we distribute electricity with  Nikola Tesla’s (AC) Alternating current through-out the entire North America! Nikola Tesla was inducted into the National Inventor’s Hall of Fame for his invention of the Electro-Magnetic Motor –  Alternating Current in 1975

nikola tesla inventions lightningThey called him mad over 100 years ago but Nikola Tesla was just way ahead of his time. He didn’t discover lightning but he was instead able to produce high voltage of sparks in his laboratory which impressed many business CEO’s at the time with the invention of the Tesla Coil, but also scared the public.

The Tesla Coil is an electrical transformer discovered by Nikola Tesla in 1891 which produce high-voltage, low-current, high frequency alternating-current electricity sending sparks of light that resembles a lightning bolt. Today, there is controversy over the potential of what the Tesla Coil is capable of with rumors of the Tesla Coil being suppressed by industries who understand the value in it’s capability.

However, some of his followers today still manage to experiment with Tesla Coils on a smaller scale trying to finish what he started but there aren’t many. The Tesla coil is also used by many today adapting it into music, plasma balls, live shows, etc. Also, the Tesla coil is one of Nikola Tesla inventions that Electrical hobbyists can make themselves or and build do it yourself kits (DIY) for others for experimental

3.4.5 Radio, Wireless and Remote Control

nikola tesla inventions wireless radio remote control
Many people today believed that Guglielmo Marconi is the inventor of radio unaware that in 1943, the Supreme Court overturned Marconi’s patent after it was PROVEN that Nikola Tesla was the discoverer years before Marconi. As early as 1892, Nikola Tesla created a basic design for radio and on November 8, 1898 he patented a wireless radio controlled robot-boat which was the first of it’s kind at the time.

In the end, this was another victory for Nikola Tesla because for years the radio was credited falsely to Marconi so another win for Tesla in reclaiming his discovery of the Radio. Today, radio changed the way we broadcast and communicate all over the globe all thanks to the man himself, Mr Tesla!
